Justin Sandler is a Professional Director, Actor, and Drummer. A native of Chicago, IL, Justin graduated from Indiana University with a B.A. in Communications and Theater. He began his professional career as a Director/Producer for TCI/AT&T Cable in Highland Park, IL. Following 2 years of creating local programming in the North Shore of Chicago, he was given an offer to Direct and Produce television commercials for Gulf-California Broadcasting (Affiliate stations for ABC, FOX, WB, & Telemundo) in Palm Springs, CA. This was Justin's big opportunity to get out West and really launch his life and career. After 2 amazing years in the Palm Springs market, Justin had out-grown his work and surroundings and had to once again spread his wings and fly. As if the plan was laid out before him, his move to Los Angeles was truly where he would find his new home and life.
Justin has always been a performer. He has been playing instruments since the first grade. His favorite... the drums... has been a major part of his life since he was barely 14 years old. He was bitten by the acting bug early, auditioning for a few films while in high school and eventually studying theater in college. He could no longer turn his back on the fire that was burning inside. He needed to perform again... but this time on a much bigger scale. In Los Angeles, Justin finally began working as a professional Actor, Musician, and Model.
As an actor, he has been a member of the Screen Actors Guild since 2002. He has appeared as a principal performer in several films, television shows, web series, and music videos. As a professional musician, Justin is currently playing drums for 3 different groups. He has recorded drums on 5 albums to date and has toured multiple times, covering over 9 countries around the world. Justin has also successfully brought his musicianship to the screen, appearing as a drummer, guitar player, trumpet player, and keyboard player in several films, television shows, and music videos. Justin's modeling career has included campaigns for over 15 different companies, including print, runway, and billboard campaigns.
With his schooling, plus his experience both behind and in front of the camera... and both in-studio and on-stage, Justin's latest venture would be the perfect culmination of everything in his life together. In January of 2011, he opened 3 Cubed Studios LLC along with his fiancee Mary L. Carter (now wife Mary Lou Sandler). 3 Cubed Studios LLC is 3 studios in 1... Photography, Film/TV, and Music. Mary has been a highly sought after professional photographer for years. Combining her expertise in Photography and Film along with Justin's vast experience in Film/TV and Music… 3 Cubed Studios became the perfect business for their lives, careers, and creative outlets.
At this point, the sky is the limit. Justin is doing everything he loves and is blessed to be doing it together with his partner in life and business. An artist, a business owner, a husband, and hopefully soon to be a family man... Justin's journey has only just begun and not even he can imagine where it is going to go. One thing is for certain... he will always continue to work hard and spread love and inspiration to everyone he meets.
